Cookie Policy
mesaifix.com and the Mesaifix panel use only cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary for the service to work. We use no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
In short
- Strictly necessary cookies only: to keep you signed in, keep things secure and remember your language.
- No advertising, analytics or social-media tracking cookies — which is why we do not ask for cookie consent.
- If that changes, we will use optional cookies only with your prior consent.
This summary is here to make reading easier; the full text below is what binds.
1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. The browser's local storage can be used for similar purposes. In this policy we call both “cookies”.
2. Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Securely keeping you signed in to the panel | Strictly necessary · first-party cookie | Deleted when you sign out; at most 400 days |
| Language preference | Remembering the language you chose | Strictly necessary (functional) · first-party cookie | 1 year |
| Google connection check | Verifying that a Google connection request came from you | Strictly necessary (security) · first-party cookie | 10 minutes |
| Theme preference | Remembering your light or dark theme preference | Strictly necessary (functional) · local storage | Until you clear it |
| Assistant visitor ID | A random ID in the assistant window on a business's website that groups the same visitor's messages | Strictly necessary · local storage | Until you clear it |
To pick the language we first show you, we read the country your connection comes from, as reported by our hosting provider. We do not store it.
3. Third-party cookies
Our website has no third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
When you start connecting your WhatsApp line in the panel, Meta's connection window loads and Meta may use its own cookies. Those cookies are subject to Meta's Cookies Policy, and this step runs only when you start it.
When you connect with Google you are sent to Google's own pages; the cookies used there are subject to Google's policies.
4. Legal basis and consent
The cookies we use are strictly necessary to provide the service you request. Under the ePrivacy rules (Art. 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC and the national laws implementing it) no consent is required for them; the processing of any personal data they contain relies on performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in a secure, working service (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). That is why our site shows no cookie consent banner.
If we ever decide to use analytics, personalisation or advertising cookies, we will run them only after obtaining your consent, offer a preferences panel where you can easily withdraw it at any time, and update this policy.
5. How to manage cookies
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies you will not be able to sign in to the panel and your language choice will not be remembered.
